Our story.

Fraymful was born from a simple idea — that every frame should have a point. Not because we plan every shot to the millimetre, but because the result should feel intentional. Made with thought, not made because every company is now supposed to publish something.

We like a cinematic look. A dark, Nordic feel. The kind of clarity that holds up in Finland and abroad. Sometimes we shoot big and slow, sometimes we move fast. Both belong in this work. What matters is that the quality and the goal stay aligned.

But the core of Fraymful is one thing. Communication.

For us that means the client is never left in the dark. We tell you where we are, what's next, and what we need to make it work. We sparring-partner the idea, suggest options, and say honestly when one route works better than another. Once we agree on something, we hold to it.

Fraymful is a promise. We do the work properly, and we look after the people along the way. Start to finish.

The first company. Over four and a half years we shot across Finland and Europe, gathered more than a million views on YouTube, and built a reputation for cinematic work in demanding conditions.

Fraymful

A full rebrand and a sharper international focus. Kuvalähde was where it started — Fraymful is the identity that matches what we actually do now, and where we're going next.

Who we are

Cinematic, calm,
technically certain.

Fraymful makes cinematic video and stills with a Nordic touch. Dark, clear, and unforced. The goal is content that looks great and actually works where it lands — in marketing, in sales, in building a brand.

Our core is in four worlds. Projects where you have to perform in the conditions and stay calm when the weather isn't on your side or the day runs long. We like it when the job is a little demanding. That's where our best work shows up.

We operate as one team, under one direction. All visual production is managed under the same roof — which makes the collaboration clear, smooth and predictable from start to finish.

Both founders carry the Finnish Defence Forces combat-camera training. It shows up where it counts — planning smart, reading the environment, finishing the job without flailing.

Valtteri Nikkanen

Director · Producer · Photographer · Client Lead

Valtteri owns the whole — the overview and the client experience. He keeps the project on rails, handles communication, and makes sure the work moves forward smoothly. In practice that means the client always has a clear feel for what's happening, when, and what will come out of it.

Strong producer instincts. Schedules, planning and logistics stay in hand, but the vibe stays direct and relaxed. No unnecessary stiffness — and good banter, at least by his own admission.

The combat-camera training shows up especially when work moves into demanding environments and you have to act smart, fast and certain.

Konsta Lähde

Cinematographer · Editor

Konsta owns how the material looks and feels. He's the one who sees the rhythm and mood in the frame and can build a piece that holds together from first cut to last.

Strong on both camera and edit, so the cinematic finish lives in both places. And when the details matter, Konsta is usually the one with the patience to polish the last ten percent.

Combat-camera training as well, which brings calm and certainty to the kind of conditions where things aren't easy.

FRAYMFRIENDS is our creator community — and the reason Fraymful can flex without quality slipping. We have a lean core team, but not every project needs the same set. So the crew is built around the project, every time.

There's a value behind that, too. Ecology. When a production is built smartly around the project, you avoid unnecessary movement, unnecessary gear and unnecessary fuss. The package stays light and sensible — and the quality stays high.

And even when the team grows, the client experience stays simple. We lead the whole, keep communication clear, and carry the responsibility from start to finish.
