ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Baffin is a Canadian winter-gear maker from Stoney Creek, Ontario. It makes cold-weather footwear, clothing and equipment for demanding winter conditions.

On the trip we used boots, gloves, trousers and layering pieces built for arctic conditions, among them Polar Expedition socks, Guide gloves, Icebreaker and EASTERN boots and base layers.

The job of the gear was simple: keep the crew working in the cold, in the snow and through long shoot days.

Challenge

The gear was shot alongside the rest of the production.

Nordic Arctic 2026 was a full production trip covering several brands. Baffin's material had to come together beside that work. The same trip had to yield both product photography and lifestyle.

Idea

Take the gear along for the whole trip.

Baffin's gear was worn for the whole two-week trip, in the cold and in the snow. It appeared at the accommodation, on transfers, in the work outdoors and on shoot days.

Execution

Two weeks on the trip and two shoot days at Kilpisjärvi.

We shot Baffin's products at different points of the trip in Lapland and the arctic areas of Norway. At Kilpisjärvi we also set aside two shoot days for Baffin's own video and photography. The horizontal brand film came out of those days.

We delivered Baffin 35 edited lifestyle images, a horizontal product-led story film and full usage rights to the material produced. Over the trip Baffin's products reached more than 50,000 unique viewers in Finland, Europe and North America through Fraymful's own channels alone.
