We photographed Allas Pool three times over two years, from wellness moments to winter ice swimming and sauna evenings.

THE SAME FEEL IN CHANGING CONTENT

The collaboration grew from one shoot to the next. The first shoot in 2022 covered wellness content. The images worked so well in marketing that we returned for two more shoots in 2024.

Three shoots built one coherent image library covering both the calm wellness moments and the more energetic pool and sauna scene. The material was designed to work on the website, social, newsletters and campaigns.

Allas Pool is a sea-pool wellness destination in the heart of Helsinki, with high-quality sauna facilities, swimming pools and a restaurant.

Production

Three shoots built one whole.

On each of the three shoots the mood changed, but the images were kept in the same visual line.

Wellness

Wellness and yoga, 2022.

The first shoot focused on the wellness side and the mood of a yoga class, where there was calm, presence and doing things together. We delivered around 50 finished images that served as the core marketing material in advertising for the wellness classes.

Ice swimming

Ice swimming and sauna, winter 2024.

The second shoot was done in a winter setting. At its core, the icy sea pool and the warm pool, a contrast that reads strongly in the images. With seven models we captured a comprehensive set in a short time, from which over 100 finished images went to the client.

Sauna

Sauna and Allas Live, autumn 2024.

The third shoot took us into the private sauna available to rent and the evening mood around Allas Live. We shot a set of images of the sauna spaces and what they offer, with three models.

  • The shoot was done during a live concert, when the audience and the mood of the evening were there on their own.
  • We used light LED gear where needed.

The shoots with Fraymful went well and we got exactly the kind of images we hoped for. We'll order images from them for future needs too.
