THE CAR OPENS UP AT SPEED.

Huracán, driving film

A dynamic driving film: motion sequences from alongside the car and drone material at full speed, cut for the client's personal library.

PROJECT

FOUR HOURS, STILL AND MOVING.

A private client commissioned a photo and video shoot for their 2024 Lamborghini Huracán Evo. One day in Wiernsheim, Germany — four hours to shoot the car in motion and at rest: dynamic shots, detail and drone material at full speed alongside the car.

The content went into the client’s personal social library: short video clips, high-quality stills and drone material that captures both the car’s design and the feeling of its movement.

Production

How four hours came together.

One window, one chance to get both the motion sequences and the stills done. How the time was split.

Challenge

One take, a hundred kilometres an hour.

01

A four-hour window. Drone work at speed demanded precise coordination between the pilot and the camera: the drone's speed, the camera angle and the car's position all have to land at the same instant. One flies, the other operates the camera. At that speed there's no second take.

Idea

A Lamborghini moves — that's the point.

02

Detail shots taken at rest matter, but the car only fully opens up at speed, and a drone is the only way to frame it properly in motion. We built the four hours around both: the car at rest and the car moving at the scale it deserves.

Execution

Detail and motion separately.

03

We split the shoot into stationary detail work and dynamic motion sequences. Stills of the car's design: surfaces, edges, light on the body. Video and drone for movement: driving shots low alongside the car, chase sequences at speed, with a DJI Inspire 2 in a two-operator setup.

  • Short video clips, dynamic and atmospheric.
  • High-quality stills of design detail and motion.
  • Drone material: chase sequences and aerials.
