PROJECT

THE VAN AS A BASE, THREE WEEKS.

TC Vehicle Oy operates Touring Cars, a camper-van rental company with vehicles across Scandinavia and wider Europe. The collaboration was a trade: use of a camper van for the whole Nordic Arctic production trip in exchange for a brand film, short Reels content and photography.

The van was the production’s base for three weeks, from Lapland to the Lofoten area and back. The content shows the vehicle in genuine use along the whole route — in almost every shot, because that was the deal.

A brand film only works if the van earns its place in every shot. Three weeks of real production in real snowstorms, on real locations, the vehicle doing the work it's designed for. Keep that honest and still make it look like a film, not a documentary.

Idea

Show the tool in action.

A camper van used in harsh conditions is a better subject than one parked in a car park. Show the tool in action — in the cold, on location, in genuine use — and the brand film makes itself. We built everything around it: the van as a base, every day starting and ending at its door.

Execution

One theme, the whole route.

The brand film was built around one theme: freedom in arctic conditions, the van being what makes staying out longer possible. Five Reels were planned for specific social uses, covering different sides of camper-van life along the whole route. Photography throughout for campaign and website use.

  • 1 brand film (~45–60 s), cinematic.
  • 5 short Reels (10–25 s each).
  • Full usage rights to Touring Cars for all content.
