Touring Cars

This was not a normal shoot day on a single subject. A large production was made on the move over two weeks, while other productions were running on the same trip. That meant documenting over a longer stretch, with different activities filmed on different days in slots booked in advance as part of the route.

Living in the van and winter travel had to look the way they were, but the shoot could not be left to chance. We planned every subject carefully with the client in advance, so the whole thing held together in a production that kept moving.

A camper van is at its most interesting in use. We wanted to show where you stop, how you cook in it, how a night in the van goes and how the long winter legs pass. Camper-van life then opens up to the viewer without anyone having to explain it.

We built the content around the van, because it carried the production team and made the whole trip possible. The main film tells the trip through mood and highlights, while the Reels show single sides of everyday life in the van.

We filmed during the Nordic Arctic 2026 trip from 21 February to 7 March 2026, from Lapland to Northern Norway and back. The main film became a cinematic, emotive travel film of the highlights. Alongside it we cut five Reels on different van subjects, each for its own social use. The shooting slots were booked on separate days and fitted around the other productions.
