A cinematic campaign video built around a realistic threat scenario, shot on a RED Komodo X with anamorphic lenses, FPV drones with the Cinelab team.

PROJECT

STORY, PRODUCT AND DEFENCE.

This production combined narrative action, a technical product message and demanding drone work into one tight whole. We built the shoot day around a realistic threat scenario in which an FPV drone swarm attacks and the defence happens with a shotgun. The result had to feel cinematic while proving the products’ benefit in practice.

Unlimited Ammo wanted content that shows the performance of the UnA Tungsten C UAS cartridge credibly and clearly. King Competition’s Pineshot was brought in as part of the gear setup so it appears in real use — on the belt and in the kit — not as a detached product shot.

Production

How the day came together.

One full shoot day, starting before sunrise and ending after sunset. The story gave a reason to show both motion and detail.

Concept

A clear arc, a natural product.

The story has a clear arc: the threat is spotted, the attack begins, the defence reacts and the interception succeeds. The structure gave a justified reason to show both motion and detail. The viewer understands the situation instantly, and the products sit naturally within the whole.

Execution

Cinematic scenes and technical shots.

The shoot day was planned so that cinematic scenes and technical product shots were captured at the same time. The main camera, a RED Komodo X with anamorphic lenses, gave a recognisable, tight look, while a Canon R5C as B-cam added speed and alternative angles.

Drone & FPV

The backbone of the day.

The Inspire 2 brought scale and dynamic movement. The Cinelab FPV team's 5-inch drones enabled close, aggressive attack lines that made the conflict feel real. Everything was carried out in a controlled and safe way, with careful planning and clear setups.

  • RED Komodo X + Atlas Orion anamorphic lenses, Canon R5C B-cam.
  • DJI Inspire 2 for aerials, custom Cinelab FPV drones for the attack lines.
  • A wide stills package, around 150 images: action and product/gear detail.
