Challenge

The weather and light in the Alps changed fast.

We moved from the Balingen forest to the Liechtenstein Alps with the whole production kit and the clothing range. Mountain weather changed quickly and the locations were hard to reach, so the shoot had to stay flexible.

Idea

Clothes belong in the terrain.

Merino outdoor clothing makes sense in the terrain and in motion. We set out to run a light production in striking settings. We agreed the visual style with the client and arranged two shoot days with two models.

Execution

Little direction was needed, because the setting carried the picture.

In the Balingen forest we shot men's clothing in natural light, movement and lifestyle with a hunting-themed mood. In the Liechtenstein Alps we shot both portraits and action shots on a mountain hiking trail. The work moved fast as the terrain and the light shifted. We handled all the arrangements for the client, so the shoot stayed light for them despite the distant location.
