VIDEOTUOTANTO

THE DULL-LOOKING PRODUCT, THE MOST INTERESTING THING IN THE ROOM.

RTZ, brand video

A technically credible demo video showing the machines' operation clearly and at a premium level, shot on a working production floor.

Machine demo, machine 4

A demo of a single process: its own angles, its own lighting, its own moment in the process, GoPro from inside the machine.

Machine demo, machine 2

Another key machine's process in its own real environment.

Interior drone work

DJI Inspire 2 and Zenmuse X7 in the low hall, the drone moving through the machine floor.

PROJECT

CINEMATIC IS FOUND, NOT STAGED.

RTZ-Rohr-Trenn-Zentrum is a German maker of aluminium components. Their machines run constantly, and the products aren’t photogenic in the traditional sense. The brief was clear: visual quality associated with Apple product videos, shot in their own factory on a working production floor.

The goal was to present the equipment both internally and externally and to build a comprehensive image bank of the staff, machines and factory environment, from both the ground and the air. This was part of the spring 2025 European production trip.

Production

Three days, three layers.

A working factory isn't a set. How the cinematic was found in the machines' rhythm, the scale and the precision of the cut.

Challenge

A low hall, a moving overhead crane.

01

The machines run on their own schedule and the noise level is high. The main hall's ceiling was about 3.5 metres, and an active overhead crane moved in the same space. Every flight line had to be planned before take-off.

Idea

Find the cinematic, don't stage it.

02

Industrial machines don't sell themselves on camera. The cinematic has to be found: in the precision of the cut, the rhythm of the production line, the scale when the whole floor is seen from above. A close-up of the aluminium cut, a drone through the machine hall, a slow-motion where the metal actually moves. The dull-looking product is the most interesting thing in the room once you know where to look.

Execution

Every key machine, its own treatment.

03

Day 1: interior drone work, DJI Inspire 2 and Zenmuse X7, dual-operator mode for precise moves in the low hall. Day 2: machine lighting and production shots on a Canon R5C, staff work phases. Day 3: GoPro details from inside the machines, exterior aerials and supplementary material.

  • Brand video and machine-specific demo videos.
  • Drone sequences, inside and out.
  • A wide image bank: staff, work phases, finished products, factory environment.
