The machines run when they need to. Every shot had to work on the terms of active production, slowing nothing. Full production ran throughout the shoot — no staging, no stopping the line. We had to find the visuals in the process as it actually happened, not a version built for the cameras.

Industrial manufacturing is repetitive by nature, and that's exactly what makes it precise. The visuals are in that repetition: the rhythm of the production line, the geometry of finished parts, the scale of the hall from above. We built the shoot around finding those moments, not creating them.

We went through the entire production chain in order: raw materials, machining stages, assembly, finished valves. Each stage was shot as stills and video in its own real environment. A drone for the factory overview. A Canon R5C and R6 II ran simultaneously, covering both motion and stills without doubling the footprint.
