When over a hundred guests are spread across a whole golf course, you can't shoot everything from one spot. The distances are real and events move constantly. The route across the course has to be planned before the round begins.

Golf event photography works when it captures the whole: not just the sport, but the feel of the day. Competitive tension in one frame, two players chatting on a fairway in the next. The course itself as a stage, not just a backdrop.

We scouted the course beforehand to find the best spots for competition shots and the natural gathering areas for atmosphere. Natural light throughout — the Pirkkala summer day was well lit and we used it. We moved between holes to cover the full range of play and interaction.
