Production trip
In spring 2025 we spent three weeks driving across Europe and filmed hotels, factories and products in five countries.
The trip
EU Production Trip was our first production trip. Planning started early in 2025, when we wanted to take our clients’ productions to new landscapes that serve the shoot better.
Two of us left Turku on 6 May 2025, and the third member of the crew flew out to join us in Copenhagen. The trip was aimed especially at hotels, industry and tactical companies, and nine clients took us to five countries.
Route
The numbered points are filming locations. The trip passed through 11 countries.

What we came home with
From Turku we took the ferry to Stockholm, and from there we drove through Copenhagen and Northern Germany to Southern Germany. The journey continued to Liechtenstein and through Austria to Czechia. The way home ran through Poland and the Baltics to Tallinn, where the ferry took us to Helsinki on 25 May. In most places we stayed one night.
Five of the clients were hotels. Stockholm Stadshotell was the first stop of the trip, and we filmed the hotel while guests were in the house all day. In Copenhagen it was the turn of 25hours Hotel Copenhagen, and in southern Denmark Augustenborg Garden. At Seehotel Töpferhaus on the shore of Lake Bistensee we filmed six meeting rooms, the public spaces and finally the lake from the drone, all in one afternoon. In Liechtenstein, one shoot day at Park Hotel Sonnenhof produced a hotel video, a vertical video and room and food photos.
In industry we spent three days filming at RTZ in Wiernsheim. The factory kept running the whole time, and the drone flew in the same hall where the overhead crane was moving. In Ostrava we filmed for one day at the Vexve Czechia valve factory, and its factory video is also used at trade fairs.
In the forests around Balingen in Southern Germany we spent two days filming King Competition’s Pineshot with a German actor and prop firearms. Germany is one of the company’s most important markets, so the product was filmed in German landscapes. In the same terrain, and later in the Liechtenstein Alps, we shot a photo series of North Outdoor’s merino wool clothing. We moved to the Alps with all the gear and the full range of clothing, and in the mountains the weather changed quickly.
The trip brought great clients and strong references, and seven of the shoots have become cases. It also gave us the production trip concept. When the travel costs are shared between several clients, a smaller production can also travel thousands of kilometres for its shoot. The later trips are built on that.
Fraymful and Valtteri made the planning and execution of the shoots incredibly easy and effortless. As a company we value their proactiveness and their ownership of the project's progress. The result was exactly what was sold to us.
I must appreciate the professional approach throughout the entire video shoot. Everything was done quickly and efficiently without any disruption to production. It was clear that this is not their first time working in industrial facilities, so I must also appreciate the safety aspect. Truly professionals, and I recommend working with them.
The light-touch collaboration between Fraymful and North Outdoor went well. Our wishes for the images were taken into account well and we got a big batch of high-quality images that will surely help us boost our marketing.
We were absolutely thrilled with the photos and videos! The quality exceeded our expectations, and the entire experience was professional from start to finish. We would happily hire them again for future projects. A special thank you for your hard work and for making the trip all the way to Germany. We truly appreciate your dedication and couldn’t be happier with the final results. Highly recommended!
Working with Fraymful was a real pleasure. The team were professional, easy to communicate with, and respected the space without needing much direction. They had full creative freedom and delivered beautiful, high-quality content with a quick turnaround. We are very pleased with the results and happy to recommend them.
